Hello people,

just a quick update- I've uploaded the old Jack Day Edit up the the site, just as an alternative to viewing it on Facebook!

Another old old edit should be surfacing fairly soon.

stay tuned.

More Fixes

If you check up the main site, you might notice that now there shouldn't be no more mysterious floating footer in the middle of the page! That's just one of the site little niggles i've sorted this afternoon!

Peace Out.

Website

Some changes have been made to the Photo Gallery Page...It actually works now!

Also a new(er) video has appeared on the home page.

There should be a new edit on the way too, however, Goofy George is letting everyone down...he said it'd be done a fortnight ago, and here we are still waiting. So to show your appreciation I suggest everyone writes some angry comments on his Facebook!

First Edit of 2010!

Goof assures me the enw edit will be up in the next day or two. In the meantime how about the first edit that ever went up on the OLD Ilkley Skateboarding website (ilkleysb.com)...

This was also the first edit I ever made with the good old Sony VX1000e!

Updates...some to the site.

Well after the computer decided to break the other day things weren't looking too great. How is the site meant to get any better or get any footage up when I aint got no computer?!? Well either way things are sorted and some changes have been made.

I'd heard people were having problems especially with font's on the menu bar of the site so I've changed all that-hopefully people should be able to read it now! I've also got rid of that nasty old background, any suggestions as to new colour schemes are more than welcome, and we've also finally got a search engine that works (kind of...)

As always, if there is anything people would like to see on the website I'm open to all new suggestions. If there's anything specific thats irritating you about the site or just the way it looks in general please leave a comment or send an e-mail! (constructive criticism if preferable!)

Cheers.

Under Construction

Well, as you may or may not be able to see the main page of the blog is up on www.ilkleyskateboarding.com/blog ...however...links to other articles, old posts etc are still linking back to the main blogger site. This is something that needs resolving. How?...well i'm not quite sure... yet.

Any constructive help/advice is welcomed with open arms!

Revelation

Well today it seems I've struck it lucky! Whilst searching for a means of incorporating this here blog into our main website (www.ilkleyskateboarding.com) I came across a coldfusion developer by the name of Ted Bradley. After commenting on one of his coldfusion posts about xml parsing, Ted was kind enough to respond back to me with what actually is, more or less, the answer to my problem!

You can visit teds site at http://www.tedbradley.com.

Once again, many thanks to Ted!

Eureka!

...maybe. I think i've just found what i'm looking for, a way of integrating this lovely blogger tool into the Ilkley Skateboarding homepage. Okay, the CSS needs a whole lot of work and the site needs an aesthetic makeover in general but as long as the blog can get up and running its all good! (for the time being!)

First entry

So i was thinking, perhaps it's time Ilkley Skateboarding had a proper blog on it's main page. I mean, how is anyone meant to follow something if there's no frequent source of updates...okay the News page is pretty bare, but it's hardly like proper blogging software and given the time it'll actually take me to hard code any kind of blog for the site, blogger seems the simplest option. (as my hosting account doesn't seem to support wordpress...:()

hopefully soon i can get a consistent style going for this blog to link to the main site and vice-versa.

peace out.
